Interaction with society
PPGENAV is inserted in the society through the services it provides when requested, meeting the demands of actions and projects generally aimed at the naval, waterway and port area. The Program's contributions in these fields enable the development of research projects whose results bring benefits to the entire population, since solutions are presented for the problems that affect the areas in which the Program develops its lines of research. As an example, we can highlight the participation of PPGENAV in a process of analysis of the demand and supply of waterway passenger transportation, as well as the optimization of naval projects and sustainable port projects.
