Interaction with other programs and institutions
The vast majority of PPGENAV faculty members are involved in the coordination of dissertations from other graduate programs, among which there is also collaboration in the co-advising of Doctorate theses. In addition to partnerships involving activities of research groups linked to different institutions, such partnerships increase the quality of the work and added positively in relation to the participation of work in other institutions, especially with regard to technology transfer and visibility of the expansion of scientific knowledge and the professional qualification of the graduates of the Program.
Partnership with the University of Southampton
PPGENAV is part of the agreement between UFPA and the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom. This agreement establishes the initial conditions for the future development of research projects among the institutions, expanding the scope of research in the North. At the same time, it is in line with the current policy of consolidating research activities in these regions and exchanging experiences with one of the most respected universities in the world in the field of Naval Engineering.
